Teacher of Art
(full or part-time)

Due to the retirement of a colleague, we require an inspiring and committed teacher of Art for September 2018.  The successful applicant will join a well-established, friendly and supportive part of the school community, consistently achieving good results through hard work and enthusiasm.  You should be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning and have a clear focus on the achievement of young people.

The post would be an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher, or an NQT with the capacity to rise to the challenge of teaching A Level.   The ability to teach Art Photography or an alternative second subject would be advantageous.  Our main requirement is for a part-time Art teacher but there could be a full-time contract offered for a candidate with a suitable subject offering.

In September 2017, Ofsted graded the school as “good”. The Ofsted inspector said that it is “the kind of school you would want your own child to attend” and a senior Department of Education visitor commented that the inspection report “read like a report from an outstanding school”.

Completed application forms, along with a covering letter and person specification should be returned by email to vacancies@ktemplar.herts.sch.uk

Closing date:        9am Monday, 30th April 2018
Interview date:      to be arranged (please indicate unavailable dates on application)

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
